Default I did it!...

OK, so I finally pulled the trigger on a 993.

I've whacked down a deposit on a beautifiul mint black/black 993 at Holts, PA with just 27k on the clock.... test drove it yesterday, wow, super tight engine.

Been rolling up to this moment over years... yes you all know that drumroll that builds over the years.

Looked extensively all over the US, and think I've found a real keeper.

Sooo.... I'm done so long as it comes through with a clean PPI which these folks think it will blast through. (it really looks mint)

So of the following, who do YOU guys trust with your babies, that I can get to do a PPI?

Performance Auto, PA
Possum Hollow Motorsports, PA
Don Gailbrath, PA

Congrats, hope the PPI is good and you drive it home.

Some previous references (searched for "PPI PA").

Congratulations!

I used Westtown for a PPI when I bought my 85 Carrera from a private owner back in 99. That was a long time ago, but they checked everything that I asked them to and seemed to do a detailed job.

There are a lot of good shops in the area, I'm sure others will chime in with their recommendations.

Yeah, its a pretty great feeling!

The car is in just unbelievable condition, price is probably over the odds, but as they say, you get what you pay for, and it's a beauty.

Just now need to plan some cool trips out of NYC, and work out what P-Car scene there is out here. If anyone knows of anything going on in the area, in the next month or so, then let me know.

Thanks for the PPI feedback info all... I think I'll go with Possum Hollow, as I hear Bill Boys knows his stuff.

Cheers

Phil

A 993 is unlike a boat in the respect that the two best days as a boat owner are the day you buy one and the day you sell one, with a 993, the best day is when you by one and the worst is the day you sell it.

Glad you are on the first day.....Congratulations & welcome to the world of 993's!

Congrats on the new 993; mine is blac/black as well, but, umm, slightly modified.
When do you try it on the track?

Talking PPI Clean !! I now own a 993!

Hey folks, well the PPI came back this afternoon.
I am now the proud owner of a beautiful black/black (are there any other colors?!) Porsche 993.

I'll pick it up in a couple of weeks, its out of state, and will post more pics then, but to give you an idea, here are a couple of pics to be going on with.

Phil
