I believe the part number for the aluminum shifter is 993 426 981 04. I am not sure of the cost but with the aluminum handbrake, it's a good look.

Hey rw, you may also want to consider a black center console, not very expensive and easy to swap out with yours. My 993 had the cashmere center console, along with cashmere P-brake handle and shift lever. I swapped them all for black, including the new 3-spoke steering wheel and I was really happy with the result.

Where did you get the 3 spoke wheel? Was it an expensive mod?

Ron, it's just a normal 996 3-spoke wheel in black leather, they are pretty easy to find on ebay. I bought the airbag module new from Sunset, I didn't want to risk going used on the airbag. You can get the airbag in vinyl or leather, I went with black leather for about $450, the leather 3-spoke wheel was about $150, I found it on ebay. Anyway, they are all Porsche part numbers, I think you can use and wheel from a 996 or 986 (Boxster). Paul
