I bought mine from Pelican for $100 or $125. Good quality and nicer IMO than the ebay example. It's oval shaped and chromed. No affiliation, yadi yada.

 

It's a little bit more money, but I'm a fan of this bar modeled after the original Porsche Motorsport RS brace. Has beautiful machined aluminum ends and weighs just 1lb 10oz.

After installing the Schnell brace, do you have to get your front end re-aligned or will it not affect the alignment? Have any of you installed this brace on a C4?

Contrary to the Porsche dealer that TRIED to align my 964, the strut brace should have nothing to do with your car's alignment.
Nor should it be bent like a banana in the process!

FWIW, I don't think there is any difference in the C2/C4 strut brace. How it helps in handling is likely another story... that I do not know
