I have an extra Cup Wheel that I purchased from Gert. Like Don, due to my short stature, I found it to be too close for comfort. As a result, I changed it out for a different wheel that is not as deep dished. If anyone is interested, I will let it go for $300 shipped. When I did the swap was lazy and used the hub that came with the Cup Wheel so I wouldn't have to swap hubs. I will include the hub and spacer that came with my new Momo wheel. It is for a 993 and I see no reason it won't work great with the Cup wheel. The Cup wheel is in excellent condition. No stains. No wear of any type. It has been used for maybe 500 miles.

E-mail me if interested

David & LA964RS, thanks for raising your safety concerns.

Thanks Mark for the rundown on the first gen airbags. Because of the issues you so well outline and since I will be using a full harness, I feel that I and any passenger will be safer in the absence of the first gen airbags which will not be a part of Project Orange. I am looking forward to having a nice light weight wheel as part of my weight saving programme and as Don points out there is less mass to move around.

Jackb911 I agree fully. Let us face it, how many people on this site have never exceeded the speed limit by a reasonable margin on the street? We are not the most safety conscious group.

Thanks all,

i run the cup wheel with a quick release. if you are doing a cage it's a hell of a lot easier to get into the car when the wheel is off.
