jnnking - just got the snow in the last week or so. I found it out east.

Arm993 - Thanks, I'm looking forward to the spring. Have to decide what mods I want to do over the winter. I'm thinking suspension, tires, RSR's, and maybe HID's. That should keep me busy.
I don't think it looks abnormaly high. Low mile cars may not have the same wear on the suspension hence the higher stance. Great looking car and good luck with the mods. Sounds like you've definately been surfing the forum...those are the best mods to start off with. Enjoy it.

Any idea why it might be sitting unusually high?

I usually size the pics to 800x600 and then do a Save As, which lets you choose a quality setting. Try 95% or so and that'll usually get it down below the 149kb threshold

Congrats on the car, looks great!

Hi 993MI,

Congrats on your new ride. Your pic is good because it really illustrates the 'aquamarine' undertone in Ocean Blue. To the 'untrained' eye, it typically goes unnoticed. But you'll notice it under certain lighting conditions, especially at night if you happen to park under some bright white commercial parking lot lights. You will see this totally cool aqua, emerald thing going on in the paint.

Wow, that is some serious low mileage for a '97, now that it's 10 years on. I thought my '98 had low mileage when I picked it up with 19k miles in Jan 2002.

Hope you enjoy many happy miles in your beautiful new 993 cab.

Welcome to the Cab Club. Would love to take mine over the Mackinac Bridge in the summertime. (Spent many summers there as a kid). Enjoy the new ride in good health, just drive it like you stole it. Also, dont put the top down in temps lower than 50 degrees - the plastic window will crack.

Well done! A mint 993, pictures and a RL Membership to boot.
The only thing that these guys could raz you about would be the ride height - that didn't take too long!
I put a few thousand miles on mine prior to doing the Bilstein upgrade. It made me appreciate it that much more.
Congrats and welcome.

Hi, Eric. It looks great. Obviously a picture from the Fall, since the weather sure has changed in the last 3 weeks.

Let me know if you need any help with the RSRs, HIDs, suspension, etc. As we talked before, the suspension will really transform your car, performancewise (even with only 16K miles on the original).

Definitely heed that advice!

Eric -

I don't think it looks "abnormally" high (at least with regard to other US SUVs ). I think the ellusion is because of the low sun in the picture underlighting the fender. It seems about the same as mine before my suspension upgrade.

Another welcome to the Cab. Club.

Great reminder about the 50 deg. limit. And also, don't leave it down (folded) during cold weather or it will crease, at least my '88 cab window did, took a year for that crease to work out.
