Yes, so long as they meet the MOT test standard for beam pattern.
I believe that the rules regarding self levelling and wash apply only to OEM HIDs and the manufacterer is obliged to supply new cars with this fitted. This does not apply to retro fit.
My car has passed the MOT test with Hids4u aftermarket lights.

I think you will find that all of our 993's are equipped with the projector type lens that is compatible with the aftermarket HID bulbs. It is the housings that don't have a projector type lens that cause the problems.
