Little update

I send the pictures to Recaro and they answered me that they are First generation Pole Positions in GFK (don't know what that is??) recovered in custom black leather.

Thanks for all the responses!

Hi Bernard,

It was really nice talking with you on the Phone regarding those seats and the effort you did for me!
I was really paranoid about them and thought my 800€ was gone

Rennlist IS a great place!!

Thanks

Didn't mean to scare you delanobe, just didn't look familiar. In which year were those manufactured?

They are so ultra rare that they don't have a brand on it!

I had a conversation with recaro and personaly send them the pictures. They are Not the real deal.

The seller is going to refund the money because he really didn't know that they were no real pp's.

i want to thank pcar for sending me the mail about the seats

I'm going to buy Sparco Evo seats instead, somebody has some experience with them? What hardware do I need?

Thanks

Since Ebay purchased paypal...now they are both useless. I haven't used Ebay since the merger.

I'm happy that the seller said he/she would refund. But I would be wary about sending the seats back w/out some sort of escrow/payment first. Then you'd be out your knock off seats PLUS your 800 euros.

He will first send the money back and afterwards I'm going to send the seats! It would be very stupid and naive if I would send the seats first! :-)

Sparco Evo, Recaro Pole Position and SPG are all excellent seats.. As are many others. These tend to be the most popular for a fixed back.

Happy ending!

The seller has refunded the money (it's on my account).

Seems like honest people still exist!

Ciao
