Has anyone had any experience with Sebro brake rotors?
As the title implies, I am looking for feedback on Sebro brand brake rotors. I sent an email request to Vertex auto asking them if they carried OEM rotors as it looked like their photos showed Zimmerman type (unpainted hats) rotors.
I got a reply saying they carry Sebro rotors and said they are much better at preventing rust. Just thought I'd ask around to get some opinions. They are about $60 cheaper than OEM per rotor so I'm suspicious, as usual.

Not to hijack your thread (btw, I think that the factory rotors are what you are looking for) - but does anyone make floating rotors that fit stock 993 brakes? I'm trying to save some unsprung weight without getting more of a points penalty from NASA for my time trials class.

Leland, stick with rotors sourced from the dealer -- they are worth it.

i bought the vertex rotors (?sebro?). they've been installed for 3-4 months now and are begining to rust.
I knew it! The bastads!
Thanks for the heads up. It is certainly worth the extra money not to have to look at rust hats.

yeah, and recently i've been getting some steering wheel "shimmy" on hard braking. i don't think i properly bedded in my metal master pads up front. either way, if i had to do it again (which i may have to soon) i would go OEM.
