From the eBay ad:
FRONT OFFSET IS 50...REAR OFFSET IS 65....
Oops...I'll plead the old age defense.

Evidently the ad copy is somewhat incorrect. These wheels probably DID come off a 996 NB, not a Boxster, and if that is the case, they should fit a 993 NB with no problems.

My neighbor had 2 sidewall blowouts on his 996 in regular street driving on his low mile Hankook k104s and is adamantly "anti".
Reviews seem to bear that out...

Yup, also my favorite wheels for the 993, next only to the Supercup. Would jump on it (despite the tires) as the price is decent but alas, no discretionary dough

These are factory rims, right? Not the $995 replicas you see all the time on there?

(Ebay doesn't work at work ;-)

They are indeed 10" wheels (rear), and sold to a fellow Rennlister. I should have bought them on the spot, but wifey would notice yet another tire tower in the garage

if anybody is interested in these wheels or other said OEM wheels have the seller email a pic of mounting faces of the front and rear. tell him you need the pics clear enough to read all the stamping and casting data which has the offsets, dates and other info of that wheel . there was a company, probably japanese, making knock offs of this wheel especially. just to be on the safe side.

Sweet wheels. If I wasn't already planning on a suspension replacement, I'd be jumping on these.

Yeah, I think the 3 spokes SW will look great in her (gray/black) interior. You're lucky you have red stichings in the sport seats otherwise those will be hers too

What do a set of 4 MY '02 wheels go for (no tires) from a reputable seller like Wheel Enhancement? Maybe I should ask it this way, what range would you expect to pay for a set of these wheels?

18 x 8.5 (?)
18 x 10

They vary wildly ... you can get good deals from Porsche dealers, occasionally ... I got a good price through Brandywine Porsche a couple of years ago -- it was about $1900 as I recall, brand new with P-Zeros. Watch eBay closely. They do come up, as Scott can attest.

The previous owner of my new 97 C2 cab put a set of them on from Wheel Enhancement, with Continental Sport Contact tires, and paid a whopping $3,755. Shortly before selling the car to me, thankfully.
