I can't stop driving my 993, rain or shine, so far no snow. I mean I drive her everywhere, it just never get's old, never!! Love the smell, the sound, and the look back after getting out. This thing is going to have like 100,000 miles in 2 years easy. Gotta get my old Turbo back from ImagineAuto in KS, and soon! At least I can spread the miles around a little. Rave over...

Ya, I suffer from the same affliction! I got my 993 recently, just to have for the weekends, maybe a commute to work once a week. Now my actual commuter car is just sitting there. Perhaps the novelty will wear off one of these days, and it will remain in the garage for more than one day without getting exercised. However, I am sure the problem will get even worse once the exhaust is fully installed. Oh, the problems we have...
I agree - love to drive the car - yesterday I drove 80 miles rountrip just to get bagels for breakfast. Yea, there are places closer but more fun going "the long way".
Such a great affliction to have. I've had mine a year and sold my commuter car many months ago because it never moved. Just rolled a little over 10,000 miles for the first year and enjoy it more every day. Each run to work or weekend drive can turn into an experience. Like this morning's commute playing with the C5 Vette behind me for a few miles. Amazing that a piece of automotive engineering can provide such therapy. Enjoy.
It kills me not to be driving but some of us cancel are insurance during the winter months with all this unseasonable weather we've had the only drivin I'm doing is with my hybore
I keep insurance on my car, if for no other reason than to protect it if a rake falls on it. When I checked with my insurance company about reducing collision for the winter I found out that 0-3000 miles all cost the same. So, the insurance stays on it (unchanged) through the year and I pull it out to drive on days on those days I can't stop myself.
I can't stop driving mine eather! I have been a die hard motorcycle commuter for the last three years, but since I got this car I haven't even thought about riding my bike. Driving this car is as exciting and satisfying as riding the bike...not to mention way cooler!
I am hoping the novelty will wear off soon so don't pile the miles on her...or not.

In MD if you cancel your insurance you will have to return your tags. Else you will be slap with an FR19 bill at $250 a month for each car...now how do I know that
I have ADD so I rotate my vehicles. We have storm coming through starting tomorrow so its off to the car wash today for my 993 and garaged until it clears. I'll be hitting the slopes on Saturday for a few hours (Im a powder snob so thats only when I go) so it will be an SUV weekend with the dumps we will be getting. Im still dealing with my insurance with my SUV break in right before Halloween and have no stereo system and it drives me nuts driving it. But I have my 77 Bronco that is fun to put around in as well and thats all dialed w/ XM and Ipod.
