Hi Martin,
My all-time favorite is Meguiar's NXT liquid. It goes on so easily, leaves no residue, lasts well, and gives an excellent shine. I've had several people come up to me when the car is parked to ask what wax I use. A big company like Meguiar's has a lot of money to invest in R&D, and they have significant interaction with the enthusiast community, lots of feedback.
I've tried some of the more expensive waxes, including Griot's Best of Show, and found they didn't shine as good. If you do the whole car with the Griot's and let it dry, you need a belt sander to get it off...

Car Care Web Page
I came across this good site while looking for lexol leather enhancer and polish.
http://www.autogeek.net/
I bought a nice Klasse polish kit and Lexol Leather kit and they had a lot of information on car care and polishes etc. Very Informative.
Also, Everything is 20% off until 12/31
