I grew up in Colorado--I miss it a lot!

Looks like fun.

Nice job having your wife snowblow the driveway as you take pictures and scurry back in the house.

Thanks for the kind words!

Jeff - we're just around the corner from where you used to live. Had 37" official last weekend and expect 20" more this weekend.

Tony - How's McKinney these days? Spent quite a few years in Plan-0 and Richardson ourselves.

(BTW - that tractor has been the best investment - my wife loves to mow the grass as well! )

Best wishes to all for a prosperous new year

Here are some additional pictures from the recent blizzards. I think I have about 3' of snow in my yard and another foot predicted tonight. I think it's time to invest in a 10hp snow blower. Unfortunately my boys are too young to help shovel the driveway and walkways.

My golden retriever and son are enjoying the sledding though.... no p-car for awhile.

Where (in general)? I used to live in a number of places in Colorado:

Colorado Springs (parents owned a liquor store in the BroAdmoor)
Black Forest
Parker
Englewood
Golden

P.S. I think my parents were in the witness-protection program.

I grew up in Loveland, North of you guys. Great little city and do I ever remember these once-every-few-years winters!!

Anyone remember the blizzard at Thanksgiving in 1980? I think it was 1980. A yard of snow overnight, drifts were over 6 feet!!

LOL, I moved around a lot as a kid, but generally across state lines. We're in the Pinery . . .

Ahhh, good old "Captain Meriweather Lewis Drive". That address was the pits when it came to writing it out on an envelope.

I remember those types of winters in NH. I do miss them sometimes. Of course it was 84 here yesterday having lunch outside overlooking the Bay in Tampa. My Christmas lawn ornaments seem stupid when it is 70+ at night and humid though. Kind of hard to get that Holiday feeling.
