Question please help

merry xmas everyone on this magic site thanks for all the advice during the year ...need help again ..i have just got my 993c2 back from the paint shop slight front bump,it has a strange whirrring sound very loud inside the car sounds like front area.and smells oily.also the brakes not bled properly ,going to the mechanic tomorrow ,but would like to advise him if anyone has any suggestions i would be very appreciative ....im stressed!!!

Sounds like they messed up the oil cooler or lines feeding the oil cooler. Could be an expensive fix, I would document it well, take pictures, and have the shop make it right.

Pcar is right, if they screwed up the cooler lines you could be in for serious trouble. Make them get it right ASAP!

if the sound is intermittent (happens after a while of running the car) every now and then,
it might be your horns or some plastic touching the oil cooler fan.
when it happens, the fan is so strong it melts the plastic (bakalit), with a strong odour.
this happened to me.
