Thanks for the ride guys. And thanks for posting the pics Darren. Cops were a little sleepy this morning !

There is a story behind the name of the road being mis-spelt [twisk] when it was being built....

Looks like fun, great stuff guys. I am often in Hong Kong on work but never get out much other than LKF. Always wondered where one could enjoy some driving... now I know.

For those that know Hong Kong, we all met at 7am right in Central (City Hall), then headed across the harbour to the winding and hilly roads in the New Territories (Route Twisk) and then onto a highway blast up to Hong Kong Disneyland for a coffee and chat.

.,..moths to the same flame, arent we all!

Thats the great thing about these cars - turn up at 6 in the morning and there's a great bunch of guys, all with similar passion for these esoteric little cars, and what's more, whilst in the middle of the one of the most densly populated cities in the world, we went on to put together a great leg-stretch for the cars.

Chasing that big-assed, blue CS up Route Twisk (at least until the green mini-bus came into play) will be a memory at lasts!

I feel a little guilty for showing a ridiculous speedo reading heading out of HK Disney, but it was eary so no harm (170km?!?!?).

Ferrari can wait, Bless you Rennlist !!!

Great pics thanks for bring back dim and distant past. Used to live in HK in the 70's...about 72-75 or something like that...when it was cheap!! Great place....the roads in NT are great and if only there was nobody else on the road theroute from Central to Repulse Bay and on to Stanley used to be fun also!!

You bring back so many memories posting those pics and talking about HK......ahhhh well

David,
I live in Stanley and driving the 993 into central HK the "long way round" (via the dam & Shek O) is a great way to start and end every day!

GT9111,
The more, the merrier. Send me a PM with your contact details and I will add you to our mailing list. I just met another 993 owner this evening who is keen to join us on the next drive.
Darren
