997 GT3 2ndary air injection system
The 993s with obdII systems from 96 - 98 NA are known to be problematic with clogging of the 2ndary air injection ports and as end result may need a top end rebuild. not all 993 to date has experienced but... knock on wood, 58K miles on mine and no light.
Was just reading the 997 GT3 brochure and to my amazement it clearly state it uses a secondary air injection system to help with emissions on start up. 993 is air cooled and 997 is water cooled, I hope to God that Porsche has resolve the clogging air passage issue.
Anyone? Please! easy my thinking?
