Sooner >> How many laps did you get in before the spin? What kind of tires did you have on?
That was on my 1st hot lap after a 1 lap warm up (obviously not warm enough). Tires are Michelin PS/2 It was b/w 38-40 deg outside. No issues the rest of the day, I just made sure to get the tires up to temp.

Thanks. I've tracked my S4 a bunch of times but not my 993 which I recently purchased. I am keenly interested in everyone's track experiences. The S4 is like driving on rails, but rear-end weight is a whole new thing for me... Take care...

A HWFMR member if there ever was one! Glad nothing was damaged, but you know what they say: the difference between a spin and a crash is, mostly, luck.

Good luck and be safe.

Hey SIGF, how do you like your s4 avant? We are thinking of Moving to an older (01-03) Audi s4 or S6 Avant from our 2002 Toyota Rav 4... We have two big golden retrievers that we haul around in the Toyota, with plenty of room. I want something safer and much more sporty.

I dunno, I got in with a spin kinda like that (T1 at Summit Point, big RHer). Unlike Sooner I nailed the apex, but while stopped and pointing into traffic :-)
