They look smaller than stock. A side by side picture would be great as would the weight.

Doesn't look like he put the heatshield from the stock exhaust on the new exhaust...won't that cause the bumper to discolor due to heat over time?

I'd want the shields on... Also how come the Tubi is around 1k more expensive than GHL? Is it that much better?

Probably because it's Tubi.

It will be interesting to hear how they sound for sure.

Yes, sound clip please! Although it will take a lot to beat my LPMMs, which cost but a 6 pack.

Sorry guys, I was out of town and unable to post a sound clip. I will be going by Imagine later today to pick up the car. I will post my impressions and hopefully a sound clip here shortly!

Arn't the Ruf exhausts switchable, ie quiet when spolier is down then into loud mode when spolier goes up similar to 996 PSE system?

I assume from the pictures the Tubi is unswitchable and therefore always loud.

Ian.

Hi Ian,

The RUF exhausts I saw are switchable. I once saw a pair on Ebay but even then they were over £1,400! A friend has the OEM sport exhausts on his 996 and he said he rarely, if at all, turns them "off".

Cheers,

David

Not to change the focus of this thread.......But do any of have you have any opinions on B&B mufflers on a 993???

I had GHLs on my C2S and didn't think they were loud enough! But I don't want toooooo loud, like a Fabspeed SuperWhatever. Something in between would be perfect. Hope to here about the Tubi soon.

Cheers,
Robert
