Robof4,
No sad to say I did not opt for the euro delivery... just cannot plan that far ahead for a April 07 built date.

I'd do it if I could afford it! But I would ditch the PCCB and heated seats. ;-)

my dealer recommended the heated seats... he said its a good option to have on resale. don't necessary know but it was not that much - compared to other options.

The PCCB (2nd generation) should be a ok and a must have with spirited driving - track work.

According to the dealer. most popular colors are white, silver, black and yellow. Not necessary in that order.

Funny all those colors were bouncing around in my head... until I came to conclude that:
white - too plain
silver - like polar better
black - been there
yellow - my wife went - looks like a jar of muster.

so mid nite blue...

hope I like it.

Don't know if you've seen midnight blue in person

Midnight blue is very dark. almost black at first glance (on a cloudy day). I saw it next to lapis, which is closer to a deep dark blue.

I think you made a great choice. I was being a little sarcastic because I live in Florida and would not need them. PCCB are a good tool for the track, but expensive for me. Well, a 997 GT3 is too expensive for me, so I guess it doesn't matter! ;-)

I think you will love the car!!!

Mike in Chicago,
No have not seen mid nite blue in person, up close but from afar in day light it seems dark blue to me and, as a plus, having the appearance of being black at night is kinda cool. 2 paint jobs for the price of one:-)

Lapis blue is a $3000 option... so, its not in the cards for me...

thanks for the heads up though.

Thumbs up

George,

I should be crazy like you! I haven't driven any GT3's, but from what I read it is the cat's meow. I'm sure it will be awesome and I look forward to pics and impressions. I like the idea of 2 colors for the price of 1 also.

For Rick, you have a beautiful car. I've never seen that shade of blue.

+1
So I am not waiting

Congrats on the GT3!

Midnight Blue is a great color IMO. Only problem is keeping it clean. Shows dirt quickly... like right after you wash it. Still, I love the dark colors.
