Default 1998 C2S for sale - NOW SOLD and Goodbye to my friends

After more than 2 years of wonderful ownership it has happened...

I made the mistake of driving an X50 equipped TT and all I can say is I gotta have one. I received the green light from "the boss" yesterday after wearing her down over Thanksgiving

Anyway, my baby is for sale amd am sad and anxious at the same time. I have put the price at what I consider to be a good deal for my fellow R-listers and will not be advertising it for a couple weeks in the hopes that it goes to a true Porsche nut. I can not figure out how to link to the classified ad. It is ad number 5832.

In a nut shell the car is relatively stock other than Bilstein HD's and M030 springs. Polished turbo twists with painted crests, new tires, new battery, Hi fi sound, bird armrest, seperate keyfob.

Of course whats not to like about those wonderful wide hips

Thanks for all your wonderful info and friendship over this time. I will always loiter around the 993 board.

Nice car, GL on the sale
Just my luck too that I can't afford one yet. I only hope I find an example as nice as yours at the same price point when I'm ready to get mine.

If that car had a black interior, I'd be flying out there to buy it right now.

What the... wait a minute, I already HAVE a 993.

Ok, so, if I didn't already have one... I'd be on the way.

Seriously though, that car will be gone in no time

Have fun in your new one!

That's one of those deals I would usually say "too good to be true," but in this case it looks like it's in the "amazing deal, almost too good to be true" category. Good luck with the Turbo, keep us posted.

Thank you all for the kind words. I do love this car and very well may regret selling it, but my mind has found a new love that pumps out 450 HP I got bit bad

This deal is not going to be offered to the general public and will list it at a considerably higher price if not sold in the next couple weeks here. It would break my heart though to not go to a true enthusiast so put out the word....

Thanks again you all are an awesome bunch even if harsh sometimes

Wow nice. And I really like having a gray interior instead of black. OT: Why is it that German cars, especially BMW and Porsche like black interior?? Why?? It's so very depressing to sit in a black interior car....
If only your car popped up 4 months ago I'd be down there to bring it back to Canada. Argh

Hope you get it sold quickly to a loving new owner

i will give you a typical German answer === functionality... you see black doesnt show dirt as easy as some of the lighter colors
