Kinematic lever upgrade - impressions
Hi Everyone,
I've just driven back 80 miles from my service and it felt like I had a new clutch! The clutch action is way smoother, a bit lighter and no more sticking (at least not yet!). I would highly recommend this upgrade if you have the dreaded hanging clutch issue. I moved from the .01 part to the .03 part. The old one showed a lot of wear on one side of the pivot (at the non peg end).
It was so easy to do as well. I ordered the part from Porsche (who posted it to me), printed off the P-car diy section, asked some questions here and then, as it was due in for a major service anyway, passed the part to the garage with a note asking them to do it! Easy! They said it wasn't hard to do so there you go.
Cheers,
David

Hi Pedro,
Assuming it does not start sticking down the line this does seem to have fixed the problem. Now I'm retraining my left foot...

I feel your pain, brother. I would love to do mine, it's just the time involved coupled with the fact that 've grwon accustomed to it. One day...
