Indeed, there are different versions of the tachs with different part numbers for different markets taking into account fuel tank size, distance measurement (mile or km) and fuel unit of measure (litre, US gallon or imperial gallon).

Once again, thanks. What a great response and so much help from all. The 993 community is truelly wonderful. Glad to be a part of it and sooooooo enjoying the 993 tip... Now to start searching for a reasonably priced 993TT as well (the greatful problem of extra garage space, an encouraging woman, and a little left over desire).
