Default White/Grey trim around gauges on C4s

What is with this white/grey trim around the gauges? Can I remove/paint this? It really doesn't look very good.

If you are talking about the ring behind the black bezel it is rubber. A way to make it look better is to remove the guages and dress with a rubber dressing to darken it up.

Mike is spot on. I've used 303 on most of my interior vinyl surfaces with excellent results. You can take a small rag and work your way around the gauges. Wipe down the rest of the instrument cluster vinyl and it should look just fine. The rings are just black rubber.

Just dress it. Don't paint it after time the paint will tend to flake off. It is rubber. A good dressing is all you need.

I have the same problem. Brand new ones are about $100 for all 4 gaskets.

Does anyone know of a "dressing" I can pick up at a local shop, or canadian tire, or which 303 product is it that u used Andreas.
