Picked up the missing piece today, small strip of metal that slots in the top of the spoiler, looks as if it needs to be glued/bonded into place as there are no clips.

I can already tell that this is the cure for the warped rear spoiler!

it is sandwiched or superposed as in the picture, it'll be cool if you can post a picture of the part.
glad you got it. price is 30ish? or did they rectify the kit?

Ted, do you have more pictures of your car's rear from a distance? If so, could you post them? I'm buying a split grill for my cab and want to get a better sense of what it looks like with the basket handle on a NB. Thanks.

Just getting the photo onto my mac, I paid £28 for the part in the UK, he's the real PITB, I think I originally had the part in the kit, but didn't realise what it was , and since mislaid it. Oh well I'll put it down to experience!

I tried fitting it this evening but it looks as if it needs to be held in with glue or something as the fit isn't tight enough for it to be held in place by friction?

Finished uploading so I've added the photo.

Pretty sure the spray shop used the supplied glue when they assembled the kit and done the paint, guess I'm back off to the dealer again, to see if I can "Borrow" some of the black adhesive!

Thanks Chuck. Gotta say, your car shows off the grille much better in these pictures than the ones you posted for the poll. I like it. I also really dig the new wheels.

I agree...I could have done a better job on that posting.

Well the spoiler is off again, for the metal bar to be bonded in this evening, picked up the adhesive from the body shop this morning.

Here are a couple of photos to follow on from Geolabs, the bar really pulls the leading edge tight, so it will eliminate the slight warp, that was causing the edge to stand proud from the body.

just the split grill spoiler, not the standard version.
