Default PBR metal master pads

i just wanted to share my experience with these pads.

i recently replaced all of my rotors (OEM) and decided to try the metal master pads for one main reason...i wanted less dust on my wheels.

while the pads do feel great (coming from an 'average joe' driver), i get a fantastic sqeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeek on slow stops. it scares the heck out of pedestrians and nearby cars...as if a porsche needs any more attention drawn to it.

i tried pad goop, tried to keep the spiders installed, but nothing doing.

i'm quickly mastering the 'short stop', but may go back to textars if i get too many complaints from my passengers after "stopping short." -ala cosmo kramer.

have you gotten them good and hot to bed them in? I had very good (quiet) experiences with them on my 964

not really, i didn't think they needed to be bedded in shows how much i know.

should i just follow the same guidlines as previous posts for performance pads?

is it too late? they have about 100-200 miles on them.
