That's very possible. I am wrth much more dead than I am alive. Then again, she would find a way to do this without killing the Porsche. Despite the heavy clutch, she loved driving it.

Gees Alon!!! Haven't been on for a few days and I can't believe what I'm reading!
Where did it happen? On the 401? And I didn't even get a chance to check out your car in person or meet you in person yet at the Saturday get-togethers...
But, and most importantly, you're ok and walked away from everything unscathed (physically ).
Very sorry to hear about the car - I guess I won't read any more about your car in Provinz (I'm assuming that's you ) - but I do look forward to your future ramblings on a different p-car.

Alon,
Good to hear that you were not seriously injured or worse.
Sentiment aside (for the lost car), the best thing to do now is get that speedyellowTT ASAP.
Man....not much you can do when it goes down like that.

Alon,
I can't add too much than what's already been said - but, everytime I view your pictures - I simply shake my head.... Thank God you are safe - and the pictures are a testament to the build quality of Porsches...
As well - as an FYI, this weekend I changed the opening page of Rennlist - one of Alon's pictures (NOT of his 993 - and well before this thread!!!!) is on the opening page of this site: https://rennlist.com/

Ugghhh. I always worry about a situation like this each time I drive in the pouring rain as I did tonight. Sorry to see those pics. We put so much time, energy, money and emotion into our cars - modding them, lovingly cleaning them, ordering goodies for them, anxiously awaiting those goodies, meeting with fellow Rennlisters to help you put on those goodies, driving our cars to the track, driving them to meet up with other Rennlisters, etc, etc. Then, in the blink of an eye, an idiot runs you off the road.
Drag...
Speed yellow TT, eh? As Paris Hilton says "that's hot".
Glad you're alive.

Thanks to the minivan driving scumbag who cut me off over a week ago, put me into the guard rail and concrete wall of a local highway and then didn't even have the decency to stop to make sure that I'm alive. It's a total loss but I'm physically fine and healthy, ready to live another day and shop for my new Porsche.

Alon,
I know how you must feel! Thank goodness you are OK. I once totaled my 911SC (aquaplanning, hit all 4 sides of the guardrail). But there is always another 911 out there...
