Default Apparently Intercity gives out toy trucks

I had my 993 shipped by Intercity van lines a month ago. Today I just got a hand-written note from the President of Intercity that reads:

"Grant/Julia. Enjoy that new 993! Thank you for your business."

Along with the card came a foot long toy model of an Intercity-marked 18-wheeler. My sons are going to love that.

Pretty class act as far as I am concerned. I am not hauling with anyone else.

Actually my kids are more likely to create their own scene where the Intercity truck goes off the porch steps at speed and then gets run over by an enormous skateboard.

$5 USD a month is a good salary for a 7-year old out here in the country.

As long as Luke Skywalker and Power ranger are involved in the Intercity crash my kids and i will join in.

Luckily for me when i told my (soon to be 5 year old) son about pocket money the other night he just said to me he didn't have any pockets in his PJ's......good answer.

You see... THAT's how you earn repeat business.

Not to mention spreading the word (this thread) about your business.

I want to ship my car with them just to get a toy 18 wheeler.

Neat.

Hmm, how come when I shipped with InterCity this past Spring, I never got the truck?
They did do a really nice job on the delivery, and the cost was pretty reasonable.

I think that everyone of you poor guys who shipped Intercity has a mail man with a toy truck at home on his mantelpiece.
