I think that the Blackberry flew off from the impact rather than the airbag. The airbag was actually a Gemballa Steering wheel airbag and yes, it worked. As for the next car, I have located a mint, low mileage 993tt once I settle with insurance. Chris, I got an email from a local guy before you posted so to be fair, I have to give him first right. I'll update if he doesn't take it. I do have a full set of H&R RSS Clubsport Coilovers as well (used for 5000 KM this summer) but I haven't decided if I am prepared to sell them (aluminum camber plates, etc, etc. Beautiful stuff).

As for the wheels, three of four did not get touched and one got crushed but amazingly, managed to hold the tire's air intact. BBS Forged: there is no substitute. Factory front control arms? Snapped like twigs...

OK I have just been to the H&R site and yes this is a bolt in replacement for the standard.....so if I have PSS9s, standard rear drop links and standard front end (with brace) what is the seat of the pants difference???

Hey David. I got a response from a local guy the first day I posted this and it looks like he's taking it from me, sorry. As for reportingon my loss in the magazine, yes I will but only once after I settle with insurance.

I recognize this piece has sold - but out of curiosity, just like David, I was wondering what the difference that this sway bar makes?

I found that this rear sway bar allowed me to dial out any understeer. It has three holes for stiffness settings like the Carrera RS bars and aside from the adjustability, it is thicker and thus, stiffer than the stock or 030 bars. If you find that your car understeers a lot, this bar is one way to do away with it and fine tune your handling characteristics based on your driving preferences.
