Default Missing sticker

What should my missing sticker have on it guys?

The glue is still on the car - the previous owner must have peeled the sticker off!

I think they can be bought from porsche dealers........

You're missing a lot of them (I can't identify them right now, however):

Yep, that's a lot of 'missing' stickers.
You could try looking on the *underside* of the flip-up hood -- i.e. look "above your head" when you poke your noggin' in towards the engine fan. (That's where I found my "Shell Oil" (1996) sticker.)

Loved looking at your gallery photos Jeff (Intheair)!!!

They're great..........reminded me of flying over the Grand Canyon in 1991 when we toured the west coast.

Let me know about missing stickers - I'm a bit of a perfectionist and will probably order them!!

Nope, I don't have the Mobil 1 sticker.

I'm not sure they all came with them--I can't imagine the previous owners removing it (knowing them).

Hi (From Gerry).
Yeah the 'Mobil 1' sticker seems to be prevalent on most of the engines that I've seen - stuck on the black plastic of the (secondary) air induction system.

Mine did NOT come with a Mobil 1 sticker. It came with a Shell Oil sticker stuck on the underside of the hood.

I've seen a LOT of 'stickers' for our engines on ebay -- just do a search for e.g. "porsche 993" and see what turns up. However, some of these sellers routinely charge as much as 20 bucks for just a friggin' Mobil 1 sticker. (WTF!?)

me too... It seems that the stickers situation is not unlike many other items on these cars. Some cars had certain kind of stickers from the factory, some didn't, some had it placed somewhere else, some had VarioRam script before xx/xx/xx, but some even after that date didn't have it...you get the idea. Again I say...you have a beautiful car. If I can remember, I'll get close-up photos of my stickers and post them.

Hello Bob, there is no missing stickers on your car.
Rest Of the World cars came exactly with the actual stickers you have now.
The sticker trace you have is most probably a service sticker not from porsche that a youngy stuck there and was removed because it was not original.

This is a long paper sticker with a barcode, for factory chain mounting info.
The assembler scans the code to know what he should install in the car.
ie: full leather seats or not, color, options, etc.
