I never let anybody touch/clean/detail my car...professional or otherwise. I would never expect anybody to spend the time (money) it takes to get the car detailed to my standards. If I can't get to it...it will simply stay dirty until I can get to it. And the ONLY thing that can keep me away from washing it when it's dirty, is my son wanting to throw football or baseball. Now having said all that...it's a weekend/nice weather car, so it never gets very dirty anyway.

No wash and wax for over a year, maybe its due. California duster and detailing spray every time I take it out for a drive.

About once a month.
I use Swissol canuba wax so a quick wash and dry it looks as good as the day it left the factory. Great stuff.

I did the clay bar on my car last weekend. Oh. My. God. It's amazing. My car's paint is 12 years old (built Nov. 94), and it felt really rough to the touch, no matter how clean it was. After the clay bar, it feels as smooth as glass, and it's noticably shinier and blacker. It's super easy to do, doesn't take much time at all.
