guys i tried realining my glove box like so many of you have on this forum, but when i loosenend up one of the screws a part came off. Now i need to tka off the black portion of the upper felt. HOW DO YOU DO THIS?

Remove all the screws inside the glove box. (Don't remove any of the screws on the door) With all the screws removed, you'll be able to slide the glove box out enough (a couple inches) so that you'll be able to see the mechanism fully. Then you should be able to put the mechanism back together then reinstall it.

TRIED. IT FEEELS LIKE IT IS CATCHING ON TO SOMETHING. i JUST BARELY GET AN INCH OR SO. i SAW A PIC ON HOW THE MECH IS PUT TOGETHER, NOW I JUST NEED TO GET TO IT!

It'll catch on 3 things: 1) the glove box light, which you can unhook and get out of the way, 2) the wiring to the glove box door switch, and 3) the glove box plastic hinge pices have hooked ends that will hold the door to the dash to some extent. If you want more room, pull out the glove box door starting on the left side then you'll have to unscrew a screw on the right to get that side out easier. Witht he entire glove box removed it's a bit easier to access.
