The jellybean blue one is a Euro model, so I suppose the tip could have been the last to be built for the US market - as stated on that plaque thingy...And then the blue one was the last built, period.

I know Seinfeld also had a jellybean blue Turbo S which a fellow rennlister bought off Richard Sloan, who was asking a hefty premium for the fact seinfeld was the PO.

I have seen this car and heard the story. I actually bought a car from these guys very recently. I have known them for several years. It is legit. The story goes that Seinfield bought the last World 993 and was willing to let this one go "moving on up".
They also have a pretty amazing '89 Club Sport, Irish Green, with 8700 miles. They don't fool around with plebian cars.

If God had meant for cars to be water cooled, he wouldn't have invented synthetic oil?

Default Remember when Kraemer bought a car supposedly...

owned by John Voigt....scam, I smell a possible scam: Caveat Emptor! But I don't really care that much as I would never pay a premium for a low mileage car regardless of the former owner...I'd drive the car and pretty soon, the mileage premium would have vaporized.

This seller is very reputable. he keeps up the collection of a local collector (NC). he sometimes has cars for sale. I have found the cars to be as described if not better--refreshing for a change. He keeps some really nice cars in his showroom. Kevin is definitely one of the good guys.

I like the car . . . but the low miles would cause me some concern.

Robert saw the car at Circle Porsche the day it came off the truck and the car was still parked in the back lot. Burt Olander (the salesman at Circle) was waiting for Jerry to get there before they pulled it up front. It was the last manufactured 993 for the US Market. Robert saw the plaque in the front compartment. Not only was Burt waiting for Jerry, but there were also a bunch of People from Porsche also waiting so they could do a presentation.

I'd LOVE to have this car, but that's a little too much $$$ just because it was Jerry's.

JoAnne

PS: Jerry isn't going broke.
He's just concentrating more on historic early cars with a few race cars thrown in for good measure (like the Gulf 917 Steve McQueen car)
