Wow, that sucks Andy. On the other hand, if you take it to the right shop, your car should look like new when its done and this is the perfect time to do the euro turbo front bumper, headlight washer delete and rear bumper bumperette delete (if you respray the whole car, which you should even if insurance doesn't cover the whole thing IMHO). My rear bumper was just scuffed last week and next week it's going in for repair. The rear bumperettes are gone! Good luck with it.

Ouch...that hurt.
On a positive note, you'll get that car back with a fresh paint job paid by your insurance company. Good thing is that there is no body damage, just the bumper and the side rocker which is all plastic that can be replaced.
Are those scratches on top of the roof? So you actually drove thru the fence?

Sorry to hear about the accident, Andy. Looks like a beautiful car, and no doubt will be again.
When you started the slide, were you able to steer into it at all?

For the car... a good shop will be able to get her back better than she was. I agree if you're interested in different bumpers, filling in the headlight washers this would be a great time to do it. Also when talking to the shop find out what paint they will be using? Again, glad to see that you're okay and good luck.

It sounds like you might have backed off too much when you first felt the car getting loose causing the infamous 911 Pcar end swapping scenerio.
Although it goes against most drivers nature (what your ***-o-meter is telling you), when the back end of a 911 starts to get a bit loose, a bit or a lot more throttle can actually save your bacon.
I suggest that when you get your car back from repair, you attend a PCA or POC driving clinic and get more comfortable with your car in a controlled (barb wire free) arena.
