Wait....this is Saturday or Sunday.... double checking.....
EDIT:
Ok this is Sunday...as far as I read through the posts again....
HAHA, I just scared myself a bit! I have to work the day before and the day after, and in my mind I was a day off so I thought it all landed on the drive all of a sudden! I would have been really upset at myself for scheduling things that way!
Ok I think Sunday is actually my free day for Porsche fun! YEY!
Hey, do we have an estimated number of attendees? I know its always more, but I might wanna bring something out for everyone this time.

Glad you can make it, Tony. Well, if the weather is as predicted by Yahoo Weather, and they've revised it to be 51 degrees as of this morning with still 10% chance of rain (yippee!), it should be a very large crowd going by the "yes's". How large? I have no idea, really. 45+ cars maybe? No reply from the Carrera GT board yet. I'm hugely disappointed .
Andreas: Thanks for the info on the protection bar. I think you saved me a couple hundred bucks.
I'm glad we have these "Meet and Drives" as it propells me to do things I don't want to do or just wouldn't have done... like waxing my car the correct way with a few layers of Zaino, thoroughly cleaning and "spiffing up" the interior with the right vinyl protector, leatherique for the leather, and that Meguiars rubber cleaner stuff. It's just like getting dressed for a wedding, or cleaning up my place before that new girlfriend comes over for the first time. I don't want to do it half as*ed.

You dont HAVE to clean your car. Just make sure you park say...5 or 6 cars down from mine and a few others so any comparisons aren't TOO blatent....hehehehe. (some of us pretend its actually concours day...it might just be an obsessive compulsive desire to clean though...)
j/k
HAHA, nah, bring your car however please. Its actually the funny thing about sports cars.
If its clean, its "wow you keep your car really nice."
If its CONCOURS its "Damn, you never drive your car huh?"
If its dirty...daily stuff, its "That person doesn't clean their car ever..."
If its HORRIDLY dirty, its "DAMN! That person knows how to drive their car!!! They actually USE IT!!"
I find it quite amusing.

I drove the drive route today from the Starbucks to the restaurant and it seems to be pretty nice. Driving it in my large family sedan wasn't exactly what I'd call "fun", but the scenery was decent. My definition of fun driving definitely changed when I got my first Porsche.
I tried updating the post on the Dorkiphus Porsche board but their web site seems to be down. Are they still "in business" over there?
The update on Sunday's weather looks like very little chance of rain, if any, so that's good news. We may end up with 50 or so cars. Should be fun.
See ya then.

Wow, 50+ ! We are getting bigger and bigger and bigger!
I remember drive #1 with like 12 of us. 3 944s and some 993s!
We might have to find a new meeting spot if we keep growing! (haha probably the lot next door to this one!)

Steve,
I'll be there too and like to bring a couple of friends.
Paul has a fantastic looking 73 that took three years to restore and Ben, he owns a 04 360.
I hope thats OK. :-)
