Or get towed. I witnessed an owner read a parking ticket and put it back. The cop apparently saw the same thing. He spun around trapping the car in and called for the tow truck. No amount of begging stopped the tow.

I got a similar ticket at the local community college parking lot. I drove through the inline parking space and was therefore tail-in. They do need to see the parking permit, so I understand their reasoning. Funny thing is that I was at the far end of the lot and no one was parked behind me, so the permit was clearly visible. And I parked the 993 in the same place every week. But the letter of the law...

I appealed, but they wouldn't budge. Also a $10 ticket, so no worries.

Why don't you ask for a jury trial let the issuing authority spend their time screwing around with this silly ticket they issued. You're entitled to a jury trial so why not asked for it it Is their job to prove you guilty not your job to prove your innocence.

Sounds to me like this is a private parking structure, and not run by the govt
