Cost of Respraying front and rear bumper guards
#17
Russ (RKB), are you interested in just swapping cabs with me. That is fantastic!
I love the spoiler and the painted bumperettes.
Terry - Dahlonega GA - where did you get that great quote for the bumper paint??? I want to go there. I live in Alpharetta, so I'm not too far from you.
After looking at Russ's car, I need new driving lights (my are yellowed), i already installed new headlight lenses. I think I will go for the clear front blinker/marker lights too, along with front spoiler or splitter.
To do/ get List:
new driving lights (how much and where)?
front spoiler or splitters;
rear bumper cover;
clear front marker lights (where)?
Gemballa rear spoiler with center brake light (installed):
remove basket handle;
repaint rear bumper cover, spoiler, lid, bumperettes and front splitters/ spoiler;
Now I have to figure out the cost of all of the above...$500 to $800+ for the repaint, $500 for spoliers and rear bumper cover installation; $200+ for the driving lights; and a Gemballa spoiler (I bet that isn't cheap)!
Thanks guys...down the slippery slope we go....

my cab is black too... for some reason b/c they match our color, the bumperette's don't bother me... actually prefer the u.s. signal lights to the longer euros. imho
i just dress the 'ettes' & that seems to look best... they are rubber afterall.
btw: guys paintscratch.com has a spray paint kit that will allow you to paint over plastic parts (using it for my ducts)... i do believe it will work on the ettes as well.
