Ha! If only Eloy was closer.

Actually, that's one of the reasons why I didn't make them... I just figured someone would steal them. My alternative... if I go somewhere and can't find a good parking spot, I leave.

Maybe an NRA decal in the window would help....

I made my own door protectors several years ago. Took normal black trim moulding with the pre-glued backing that are sold at auto supply stores, and a roll of flexible magnetic material. Put the magnetic tape on the back of the mouldings and made 2 of them long enough for each door. Looks like permanent door guards when they're on the 993. I only use them if I'm in a mall parking lot or another ding zone.

I affixed that same kind of pipe insulation to some exposed studs in my garage where our car doors are likely to open. They are a paint saver, without a doubt. As far as putting that kind of thing on the car, I think amount of (unwanted) attention they would attract would outweight the benefit. However, I understand the desire to keep the car ding-free. If it works for you, great!

My solution is always to park next to a car that is more expensive/newer/better-kept than my own and of course, no kids toys in the back.

Apart from the Pcar with the lambo doors posted earlier, this is the second ridiciously stupid thing I have seen today! Are they actually real?
They were a good colour match in all fairness.
