I've also ordered some of the Maxspeed parts for delivery to the UK. i'm delighted to hear that they amplify the sound of the RSRs. can't wait.

Hi I've just received my big ovals from Maxspeed. However, I have two parts that are exactly the same. I am sure that I should have a left and a right tail pipe. Can anybody confirm ikf this is the case.

I used a dremel on one of mine--the other just broke in half when I was trying to loosen them.

I replaced them with stainless steel, which is doing well.

I dremel'd mine off too.
Awaiting my (non rolled edge) ovals from corvettec5dude ($50). He sent me 996s in error, and if the 993s are anything like them, they look great! He's offered a group buy if we like the quality.

Can't beat big ovals! Do you really think they make your exhausts louder or is that just perception?

Cheers,

I too prefer the non-rolled edge, do you have any pics of these?

I'll send em when I get em, but they should be close to the ones on JackB911's red coupe here, as it's the same supplier...

I think a GB price could get to $50 shipped, or close.

I have chromed Motorsports tips at present and would be interested in trading or buying a set of OEM big tips if anybody is interested. I do have to admit Randy's Maxspeeds look pretty good!
