I've dealt with LA PD, DC Automotive, Oklahoma Foreign, and German Auto Dismantlers.
Of the group, I can only recommend Rick at DC Automotive and Gary at Oklahoma Foreign. Both pleasant to deal with and they shipped what they promised.
I think LA PD does a ton of business on Ebay, where any monkey can sell something that says "Porsche" on it.

Three Wheelin'
PartsHeaven in the Bay Area is great, we deal w/ them all the time, they are very friendly, responsive, and KNOWLEDGABLE! I'll bet if you asked them for offsets on some set of wheels they'd be able to find out.

I was looking at their aluminum/leather shifter and brake handles for my
96 Carrera 4. Should I order from Carnewal instead? Anyone know of other
sources for these Techquipment items? Thanks!

Hey Fred,
I really appreciate your offer, but I'd rather not deal with a vendor who has so many problematic transactions. As tempting as the deal may be, I just don't have the time to deal with a bozo in California.
Thank you!

fwiw... i'd walk in w/ cash & walk out w/ the exact part i needed. otherwise nada.
p.e.: never forget trying to buy a cf dash surround & then them switching the purchase to a whole cf package b/c they in fact did not have the single piece i wanted to buy (orig. said they had).

Avoid them like the plague. They misrepresented some parts I bought and then I had to dispute the charge with the CC company to get a refund. Fortunately I kept good records and won the dispute.

Do a search for LAD and you will find the details of the troubles I had with them. Spread the word. Avoid them like the plague.

The key to these guys is to pick up the stuff yourself. I have had no problems when dealing face to face. Remember they are like Stealers parts departments. It is like dealing with Frys, an electronics superstore. You gotta know what you need and know what to avoid.
