Default Turn Signal cancel not working

Last night I noticed that the turn signal no longer automatically cancels after making a turn. It was late and dark so I didn't poke around to see what might be awry. Does anyone know what is involved in fixing this minor annoyance? I assume it is no big deal to get to and fix, but I could be wrong.

You'll probably have to take the wheel off to see if the tab on the clock sprin (unit under the wheel) is still intact. Its either there or maybe the springs that pull it back to center have let go

If I remember correctly, the entire turn signal assembly (including the signal cancelling parts) in the steering colum is one piece and isn't cheap.

Don't know if you can trouble shoot just the failed canceller.........Good Luck.

ZP44 is correct. It comes as a complete unit and is pricey. There are two versions, one with OBC and one without. My cruise failed a while ago because of a faulty stalk. I have recently learned that you don't have to remove the steering wheel to replace these- who knew? I have been putting the replacement off because I didn't want to mess with the wheel and airbag.

Been here, it was £300 ish for the column switch assembly, and once we took it apart it was clear that it was impossible to fix (in my case at least). Good luck.
