I figure he saw it in a catalog, says to himself "I drive fast, I must be a SPEEDSTER" and sticks it on his car.
So now he has a Speedster Carrera.

Wow! What a day. Quoting Silence of the Lambs AND Zoolander in ONE DAY!!! I love it.

Putting a turbo wing on a 993 is just a style choice. Maybe not for everyone, but that's just fine.

Sticking a "turbo" emblem on said wing on a na 993... now that is a little "poser-ish".

I can't think I would ever care if someone called me a poser! Personal I don't give a rats *** about what people say about what I drive... For gods sake I drive a honda civic. My personal goal is to have a 20 car garage in the middle of a place with long and twisty roads and no observers; all for my pleasure. Now if you ware a shirt open to the navel and have large gold medallions to mach your camaro, I might have to question that, and as for the white wheels on my C4s, they are factory and any thing factory is not posing! Have fun with your cars and only pretend in your own dreams...

Someone gave me a set of Ruf Badges when I bought a set of Ruf Wheels. I loved the look of the wheels, but I was never going to put the badges on. I sold the badges on EBAY to someone with a non-ruf car for 125 bucks. I made a profit from someone being else wanting to be a poser - there is some degree of gratification in that...

I am the real poseur. I bought a "turbo-bodied" car without paying the extra $45K for the real thing. Thinking of swapping the Carrera S badge for a turbo badge, and adding big reds to complete the picture.

Poseurs, Posers: anyone who is afraid to cut their own path in life because it may not be accepted by those who are afraid to cut their own path in life.

So where's Adam now, did he end up selling his car? poor guy....that is why, I'm very careful what I post in here coz' you can get easily carried away. You never know who and when you are going to meet a person that is in the forums.....

I'm lurking or hanging around @ this forum (993) eventhough I already have a 99 Boxster coz' I want to learn more about the car that i'm planning to buy a year or two down the road. So far, it is been really, realy helpful

He took out the part where he said he was selling the car because the payments were too high.
