I can assure you that the last thing I was thinking of was to photograph my speedo when I was doing something around 285 kph on E35 in July. I was looking 3 miles down the road!

My two cents - I don't think those are tree branches, I think the reflection is the driver's hair standing straight up due to the suction created by the open sun roof...
