Steve Weiner
For the many of us who rely on Steve's knowledge and help, as well as valuable supplies, Steve is unavailable for a few days. I just spoke to his wife, who is a charming person, by the way. Don't be impatient if you call or write to him, as he will get back to us as soon as he can; he is not ignoring us, and he has not gone fishing. An unexpected absence like this reminds many of us how dependent we are on Steve and Bob, and I hope they know how much we value their presence.
Hopefully he's OK. I just got my distributor rebuilt by him... it was returned last week and is now installed. Car runs great. Amazing what a functioning second distributor can do for performance.
As everyone knows, Steve is great to deal with and an invaluable resource. The best to him...

Steve is a Rennlist treasure. A great guy ! I have been speaking and emailing w/ him over the last few weeks. I am not sure if it was him that responded to my email earlier today, but I did get a response. He is truly one of the nicest, informative, knowledgeable individuals around.
When I used to go to PDX for business, I had the good fortune to have dinner with Steve several times. Great guy and very knowledgable....I hope all is well with Steve!!!
Gentlemen (and ladies):
I'd like to offer a genuine and heartfelt "Thank You" for everyone's kind words, well wishes, and thoughtfuless expressed here. To be honest, I was just stunned.
Recently, I was unexpectedly hospitalized with some complex intestinal issues that not only disrupted my work schedules, but also prevented my normal timely responses to e-mail, telephone calls, and commercial inquiries/orders. I really didn't realize how many tubes, hoses, and cables can be hooked to a human being at one time.
My deepest apologies for any inconveniences for anyone trying to reach me.
At least for the present, nobody can say that I'm "full of it".
