OBC Tachometer Testing Help...
Folks,
I'm planning on doing the OBC retrofit this winter and have a line on an OBC Tach, but the seller wants fairly quick turn around on a return/exchange if it has problems.
Since it will probably take me a couple of months to find the time needed to do the retrofit (read: two small kids take all of my extra time), I was hoping that a local Rennlister with a 993 OBC setup would be willing to work with me to plug in the used Tach and control wand when I get them to make sure the OBC functionality is working.
This isn't difficult, but will require the removal of the steering column plastic cover and pulling your tach out of the dash. The whole test will probably take less than a 1/2 hour.
Please let me know if you are able to help me out.
Thanks,
