OK its in germany. Is that in KM ar Miles per hour. 282MPH is quite a bit. Wasn't the 9FF record at Nardo at 248 MPH. So is it in KM's?

If the video is at 1X speed WOW, but I just cant compute the rest. Maybe someone who has been at the ring and driven on it can chime in and coment on the speeds through the corners.

Very cool. 911C2, it looks more like kmh than mph, but I could be wrong. Makes me want to get to the track soon.

Okay, my quick math tells me it's in kmh, not mph:

- Nordschleife: 14.17 miles
- Track time: 7:17 (minutes:seconds)
- Average miles/hour: 117

The 117 seems a fair amount slower than his speedo was reading, on average, which leads me to believe it's kmh. Plus some of those hairpins were entered with huge speedo numbers...

I'm green, track-wise, but that average 117 seems seriously fast!

That was some very smooth driving, I bet the driver has a lot of seat time on that track.
Thanks, Chris

Click the link as normal and it should open in a new window. In order to get it working, I click the "Switch to Windows Media Player" in the upper right corner and it fires up.

Thanks - I get it to open and play without an issue - I was trying to download to save a copy in 'My videos' in case the link disappears. That's where my incompetence shows ...

This is/was the fastest street car to be on the 'Ring. It has a 612HP engine built by RS Tuning in Germany. If you want to read more about it:
http://www.edo-competition.de/911_Po...96.0.html?&L=2

Covers the 100-200kph (62-124mph) in 6 seconds!...

Wow. Superfast. Never seen video of the 'ring before. That is a lot of armco...and very little runoff room. Cutting a tire, breaking a suspension link or even cracking a brake disc would be disastrous.
