Default What's the largest Rennlist 993 gathering on record?

When I see these GTG postings on the board in various locations around the globe, I've often wondered what the largest one has been and where it was located.

I appreciate it may be a logistical nightmare, but perhaps we can set something up before the snow flies.

Pie in the sky perhaps, but it would be nice to see all of these fantastic 993's and meet all the owners.

Suggest a location (and not California - those guys are spoiled to begin with )

I was just thinking about the same thing. I have met some great people thru here, and wondered how hard an east coast meet would be to put together. A central location (maybe even a racetrack rented by us for the weekend)?
I'm in for a road trip if there is interest

LOL .......hey what part or CENTRAL is watkins glen, when you're in NY: .

To keep things fair, we need to go mid west probably, like Mid Ohio. Barber Motorsports would be cool (Alabama), but not quite central

All you Maryland (particularly Rockville/Gaithersburg area) Rennlisters - we should make that an annual event. I was to late to attend this year's gathering (got my baby in July) but would be psyched to attend the next one... I work in Rockville (same company as JFScheck) but live in Catonsville - hence the need for my sweet red baby to drive me back and forth! Hope to see you all soon and catch some

Beers,

If you are looking at 'RENNLIST 993s' then it is possibly at my house.

https://rennlist.com/forums/993-forum/271732-viperbob-home-coming-bbq-saturday-5-20-2006-a.html

When we had our ViperBob welcome home party in May, we had 32 Rennlisters with a total of 28 Porsches at one time or another. All but 3 of them 993s. See page 8 of the thread for pics.

Haha...i'd have to agree. I live in NY and it's still 4 hrs. (well...more like 3.5 in the 993 ) away.

Limerock would ROCK! Although, they'll probably want and arm and a leg + more to rent track time there.

Speaking of...i'll be heading up there for DE tomorrow morning.

Wow, very cool. Be safe! While you're there, why don't you see if you could find out what they'd get for a day/weekend.....whatever, as wll as what would be the first available timeframe to rent it. I bet we're a year out!
