Default Need hekp on central locking!

OK, I just installed a 928.618.260.00 box today in place of my 01 box. In thepry they should be interchangable. Indeed the central locking now works fine.

However... the car doesn't start. It behaves the same way as when the box is completely disconnected. It cranks, but no fuel gets delivered. Installed the old box back - the cars starts again but the central door locking is dead.

What am I missing here? Neither box has an immobilizer. Need help!

Why did you change part numbers on the box? Mine is a 95 with aftermarket keyless locking and the alarm system works fine. In alarm mode the car will crank but not start.

Teh 00 part is what I managed to get my hands on. From all indications it was supposed to work fine.

What's an alarm mode?
