Default Block Off - Fabspeed

I just read the post about FabSpeeds new website, so I jumped there real quick. Can someone tell me what the "993 Heat Duct Block Off & Fan Block Off" do, and what it replaces? What other then the stated weight loss does it give?

I assume it lets your remove the huge heat exchangers from the bottom of the engine. But that's just a guess.. Also you're gonna lose your heater which in NJ might not be so good...

If you remove everything regarding heater (so you don't even have the heater by-pass tube), you need to block the opening on top of the fan housing and you should also close the hole in "tins" where the duct goes below the engine. This is what those pieces are for.

It was more of a curiousity, as I did not know what needed to be removed.
I'll keep the heater....
