Outstanding Porsche, great looking wife and friend of wife. Texas gals are in a class of their own. But you gotta love Allen from Alabama's comment about sitting in a lawn chair and shooting a couple of brews down with his Porsche. Geez, no wonder Porsche owners have a high divorce rate.
That is damn hilarious!!! My girlfriend's boss brings his Cayman to work and she wants me to let her take my baby to work to park next to him. I'm running out of excuses. The time of reckoning is here. maybe I can arrange a 1300 mile trip to get this obsurd idea out of her head.

Nice write-up on your trip, and a beautiful car. White may be faster, but red cars APPEAR to be faster, even sitting still. The 993 has been in my garage for two years now, and I still stare at it, just like the rest of you nutcases. Your story reminded me of driving mine home from Idaho, doing 600 miles before lunch the first day...

Ok So I roll up to this place called Whitlows in Arlington, VA. I am picking up the wife from an after work happy hour. All of a sudden the whole bar sees my car roll up and everyone is stuck to the windows at the bar with their tongues out. It's like they have never seen a 911 before. It this area there are Porsche's everywhere but not so many 993's. How much attention do you all get still in your 993?
