A.P.E. chip equipped . That's what it says that I have and to make sure to only use high octane fuel . Does someone know or heard of this chip ? Btw I have a 1995 993 and I only use 94 octane and the motor rocks (in a good way ) I have had the car up to 255km/hr (160 m/hr) and probably still had a bit more to give . Also it has 109,000 miles on it Very solid motor, only thing syncro from sec to first is a little tired . Will take care of clutch and flywheel this winter .
Anyway if someone has info about A.P.E. chip and would care to share . Just curious ? Can you tell if your car has been chipped without a diagnostic.

I search n google n couldn`t find . It must be chipped because I rode in other 1996 n 1997 and they rode in my 95 n they commented that my car pulled well and I rode in theirs it was different . Now I think I know why
I guess the only way to know is to have a diagnostic done ?

Take your Motronic out and look under the cover. It's under the driver's seat. About a 30min job.
It makes a very noticable difference in performance. The car really comes alive. Chris
