I believe these are the same as '87-'89 Carrera. That's what I used on my 993 interior.

Yes, as you can see the top one does have electric windows, it also has airbags. It was one of the RS cars that I looked at for possible import.

Hi Bill,

I have a shot on my 993 page here:
http://www.cupcar.net/myrsoptik.htm

As far as I know, the kneepads for the '87-'89 911, 964RS and 993RS are the same exact part.

Hutch,

If you are talking about the the radio hole, it is a Porsche part. I have two of them. one is blank and the other has a bracket that holds the hot-lap timer. If you are talking about the hole left when you remove the center bracket that holds the non-RS knee protection pad, I made a plug out of wood and covered it with leftover carpet.

Hank

PS. The RSCS absolutely does not have kick panels. It does look like in Bill's pictures that the RS does. It also looks like you could easily modify the stock ones, cover them with carpet and achieve the same goal. I realize that you want the real deal - not trying to give you suggestions you've already checked off. Thanks for the page number in the PET. I'll look at it when I get home.

Sorry, I seems to be answering a question about the knee guards. The kick panels are something completely different. I never changed those.

JC, the knee pads are the same as a 964. The kick panels for the 993 RS are not a 964 number they are 993 only. I would certainly like to see a pic of them, I just ordered a set so we will see in person. The only downside to them is the $$, I hope they fit.
